What is Pico Deep Laser Toning?

Pico Deep is a laser toning treatment that can even out your complexion and skin tone by treating concerns that are rooted in the deeper layers of the skin without disrupting the skin’s surface, which means more comfortable treatments and less downtime than with other types of laser.

What does Pico Deep Laser Toning Treat?

Pico Deep Laser Toning treats deeply-rooted pigmentation and melasma, coarse pores, acne, moles and birthmarks.

How does it work?

Pico Deep Laser Toning delivers frictional mechanical energy pulses to the deeper layers of the skin at an exceptionally rapid rate without breaking through the surface of the skin. This targeted energy breaks pigment down into tiny particles that your immune system then removes naturally. It also stimulates the collagen-building cells to improve some textural concerns.

What results can I expect?

Once the laser breaks the pigment up into smaller particles, it takes some time for your body to remove those particles and rebuild collagen cells. Results should appear gradually over 4 weeks following treatments.

How is this different to other laser toning treatments?

Pico Deep Laser Toning treats deeper pigmentation and textural concerns than Pico Rejuvenation. It reaches the deeper layers without breaking through the surface layer of the skin, so there is less discomfort and less redness after treatment, compared to other types of laser.

What happens during treatment?

Your skin will be cleansed and numbed, then a highly trained experienced clinician will use the appropriate handpiece to deliver pulses of energy onto the treatment area. After treatment, you’ll be placed under a phototherapy lamp and your clinician will apply serum and sun protection.

Is there any pre or post treatment care?

It’s recommended that you use sunscreen and a pigment inhibiting serum before and after treatment. There may also be some redness after treatment.

How long does a treatment take?

About 20 minutes for a half face, around 40 minutes for a full face.

Who is this treatment good for and why?

This treatment is effective with most skin types. Because fewer treatments are required (compared to other types of lasers) it is an excellent choice for someone who has an upcoming event and hopes to achieve some result by a certain date, however, results are gradual and may vary between people.

How many treatments are required?

For best results, a course of 6 treatments is normally recommended.

How much does it cost?

Prices range from $250 for smaller areas to $900 for full face and neck. Package pricing is also available for packages 6 or 10 treatments*
