SmoothEye is a safe, non-invasive laser treatment designed specifically for the delicate periocular area. SmoothEye is used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, restore lost volume, improve elasticity and reduce bags underneath and around the eye area.
The laser gently ablates dead cells on the surface of the skin allowing newer cells to come through. The laser also induces controlled warming in the skin, which causes collagen fibres to contract for a lifted appearance, and it stimulates the fibroblast cells to rebuild damaged collagen to improve the skin’s appearance and elasticity.
This treatment has a warm, sometimes tingling feeling that only lasts while the laser delivers pulses of energy. Minor discomfort can be managed with numbing cream and surface cooling, though the treatment often well tolerated.
You will see some initial improvement as the collagen fibres contract right away, but the full result will become apparent approximately four weeks after your course of treatment. This is because collagen, once it is stimulated, takes time to regenerate and rebuild.
You will probably need 3 treatments to see optimal results, but this can vary person to person.
This treatment is safe when it is delivered with the proper protocols. The qualified staff at Rejuvenation Clinics of Australia participate in extensive and ongoing training to ensure that they follow the latest protocols to ensure your safety.
The treatment itself is less than ten minutes, but there is an additional ten minutes of preparation time.
There is no downtime required, and you can resume your normal activities after treatment. You will need to protect the area from the sun for a few days following treatment and there may be some minor redness, swelling or peeling following treatment.
Depending on your skin type, we may recommend that you use a pigment inhibitor in the time leading up to treatment. Numbing is also recommended for 10 minutes before each treatment.
Your skin may appear to be red after treatment, and some clients experience minor swelling, which can be covered with mineral makeup. Skin may become dry a few days after treatment, and your practitioner may recommend an ointment or moisturiser to use.
Treatments start at $340.*
